Great Weekend

19 Mar

Long waited moment finally arrived! Went to the airport to fetch Stephen, arriving on Tiger Airways from Hong Kong! The plan was quite on time and soon Stephen was out and its' great to see him again!

Brought him back to my place where he would be staying for the 2 nights. Then, Win called and we went over to Swissotel Stamford to meet up with them (Win, Daddy and Raymond). Went over to Marina Square and to Suki-Ya for Sukiyaki dinner. Dinner was not bad but the company was great!

After dinner, we went over to Fruit Paradise for dessert. Most of the tarts were sold out but we managed to try 2 flavours.
Went over to the regular hang out place for drinks before heading back home.

20 Mar

Brought Stephen to the local 'market' for breakfast. He reckoned Roti Prata, Loh Mee, Fried Carrot Cake were too heavy for breakfast! Fried Bee Hoon was good enough for him!

Was to meet up with them for lunch at Taka. Went to Crystal Jade Palace. Had dim sum lunch ..... delicious lunch! Then, went over to Orchard Central for dessert - Fruit Paradise again!

A stop at Robinson's to get a gift for Wong before rushing back home to change. Gerald came to pick us up. Picked up Small Ben before going over to Wong's place.

Gathering at Wong's place. Soon, Daddy, Win and Raymond came ; followed by Nick and Jason. Albert arrived later with a friend. Dinner was catered - Lee Wee Brothers' mini nasi lemak buffet with additional honey glazed wings and curry chicken. Derrick , who could not make it, brought some wines over earlier. Simple fare, compared to our usual wine party, but good enough for the gathering. Wong bought big strawberries and grapes. The ambiance was great!

21 Mar

Brought Stephen to Queensway Shopping Centre for 328 Katong Laksa. He loved it! Then, off to Chinatown for a look see before heading to Swenson's for lunch.

After lunch. we headed out to the airport for Stephen to catch his flight back to Hong Kong!

It was great having Stephen over this weekend! Though we did not do much travelling around, the time spent together was priceless! Thank you!
